Accounting Leadership Position

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in record-to-report accounting processes.

They should have a deep understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and industry dynamics.

A strong ability to forge partnerships across the organization is essential, as they will provide insights and guidance to cross-functional teams.

Open communication and cooperation are key to ensuring R2R activities are executed seamlessly.

Successful candidates will possess excellent leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver exceptional results.

Candidates must have:

  • At least 10 years of experience, including 3-5 years in senior accounting roles
  • Core R2R controllership experience for large organisations
  • Leading transitions and transformations, innovations
  • Digital finance experience
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders in the US and Europe
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively influence the identification of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Manage ad-hoc projects initiated by Controllership leadership
  • Assist with drafting desktop procedures, training as part of transition efforts in the first 6-12 months
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Finance senior leadership
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and retaining strong local team members
  • Identify and manage training and upskilling of local team members
  • Hold self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy
  • Articulate material risks and opportunities and take an active role in designing and executing response or contingency plans
