Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our vertical transportation business in India. As Head of Vertical Transportation, you will be responsible for driving growth, building relationships with customers and regulators, and delivering services in accordance with our management guidelines and Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarize yourself with the VT market landscape in India, including customer, competitor, authority, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote our company as a leading VT authority in India, aligning with our global VT strategy.
  • Drive business development and sales activities, leveraging your network and industry expertise to identify new opportunities.
  • Manage and lead professional teams in strategic locations across India, ensuring smooth operations and efficient delivery of services.
  • P&L responsibility for our company's VT activities in India, with a focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Integrative personality with strong leadership skills, capable of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people at all levels, from customers to regulators.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in relevant local languages and English (min. B2 level).
  • Good presentation skills, with experience in developing and delivering presentations to various audiences.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
Desired Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of lift technology and industry, with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Familiarity with inspections and certifications of VT, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet customer needs.
Education:
  • Bachelor Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical) is required. A Master degree, particularly in a business-oriented field (MBA), would be beneficial.
