Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by delivering exceptional techno-commercial research and advisory services to clients in the chemicals and materials domain.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop winning research solutions for client business problems, ensuring effective commercial frameworks and presentations.
  • Participate in business development tasks, supporting marketing outreach programs, and creating industry/capability decks, white papers, thought papers, articles, and case studies to drive business expansion.
  • Lead a team of senior analysts, analysts, and associates, focusing on nurturing and recruiting talent as needed.
  • Manage all client communication, including kick-off calls, deliverable presentations, and feedback calls.
  • Articulate technical, business, and analytical discussions effectively through strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong analytical mindset and technical background to generate actionable recommendations for clients.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in chemical/materials or related fields, or equivalent experience; preferred qualifications include B.E. Chemical Engineering + MBA (marketing/operations).
  • Minimum six years of experience in business research or consulting engagements.
  • Primary research experience, training ability, and improvement of primary research skills are essential.
  • End-to-end management of business research or consulting engagements, staying updated on recent industry challenges and trends like sustainability, biomaterials, carbon neutrality, resource optimization, circular economy, and digitization.
  • Past and current experience handling teams of qualified professionals.
  • Excellent knowledge of market analysis, business analysis, technology analysis, competitor intelligence, management frameworks, advanced MS Office, forecasting, and business writing.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Maturity, self-organization, planning, attention to detail, and proactive attitude are required.
