Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement, vendor development, logistics, inventory, and distribution operations.
  • Develop supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage Purchase Orders (PO) generation and vendor registration for commercial and contractual benefits.
  • Ensure PO accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Evaluate and register vendors for optimal terms and conditions.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent supply quality and service.
  • Coordinate smooth material dispatches according to customer requirements and project timelines.
  • Monitor logistics activities for cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Plan, stock, and distribute materials to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Maintain accurate inventory tracking through regular stock reports and implement best practices in warehouse management.
  • Oversee vendor invoicing, documentation, and payment processing with accuracy and statutory compliance.
  • Generate Supply Chain Management Information System (SCM MIS) reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Analyze stock reports, logistics data, and vendor performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor the Supply Chain team to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Drive process improvements for optimized cost, efficiency, and turnaround time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electricals or Electronics is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 20 years of proven Supply Chain Management experience in manufacturing, EPC, or engineering industries.
  • Expertise in procurement, negotiation, vendor registration, logistics, inventory, and invoicing.
  • Strong understanding of E-way bills, challans, MIS reporting, and stock management.
  • Proficiency in ERP/SCM software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
