Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing staff, developing departmental SOPs, and ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff in each section to ensure the proper use of equipment and efficient completion of all tasks.
  • Develop and update departmental SOP manuals, standards of performance, policies, procedures, and service standards pertinent to the efficient operation of the kitchen in accordance with hotel policies, standards, and municipal requirements.
  • Identify market needs and trends in terms of food menus for both hotel guests and the local market.
  • Monitor and analyze menus and products of competitive restaurants and other hotels' departments.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
  • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs.
  • Recruit and manage kitchen staff.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.

Qualifications:

  • Hotel Management Degree or relevant diploma in culinary.
  • 8 years of hotel industry experience.
  • Strong operational/technical knowledge.
  • Strive for results (success-oriented, data-driven, proactive).

Work Arrangement:

Full-time employment.
