We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with automation testing and be proficient in Python and BDD. They should also have knowledge of Smart TVs and/or Set-top Box(STB) or any Multimedia Products, as well as wireless networking and streaming video and audio analysis.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring end-to-end validation of new functionality
  • Troubleshoot issues to the root cause and provide detailed bug reports
  • Automate all P0/P1 test cases from new functionality and simple & repetitive existing manual tests
  • Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios
  • Executing tests on software usability
  • Analyzing test results on errors or bugs, and usability
  • Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the team
  • Interacting with clients to understand product requirements
Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication (E&C), Computer Science (CS) or equivalent
  • Excellent understanding of software development life cycle and various testing techniques
  • Experience working with JIRA, TestRail, or other bug tracking tools and test management tools
