Job Overview

Assistant Engineering Manager: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Engineering Manager to join our team.

The role involves leading certification and compliance activities for UAS products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely releases of SoCs. The successful candidate will have exceptional understanding and hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks, national and international regulations, and product testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements, generate requirement proposals, and develop execution plans.
  • Study and understand tender documents, scheme documents, compliance standards, drone rules, and generate test requirements proposals.
  • Ensure correct TC documentation, tests executions, TC audits, and cooperation with CB for expeditious releases of SoCs.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders like CB/ATE, DGCA, and QCI to make them understand the product environment and compliances.
  • Effective communications and collaborations with CB, DGCA, QCI, CEMILAC, DFI, BIS, etc.
  • Timely study of regulatory drafts and feedbacks in the interest of IdeaForge, study and analysis of international regulations, and preparation of presentations and compliance roadmaps.
  • Creation and maintenance of Certification roadmap in cooperation with Product management and strict adherence in execution.
  • Planning and execution of periodic internal audits to identify/comply with risks and implement mitigation measures with respective departments.
  • Budgetary planning for all departmental activities.
  • Team management, KRAs, and appraisals.
Requirements
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Technical Compliances, minimum 5 years in UAS industry.
  • Exceptional understanding and hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks – National/International.
  • Proven experience with product testing, process analysis, and certification activities.
