Job Description">

A BIM Technician is responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and models using Autodesk Civil 3D software. This involves preparing conceptual sketches, detailed construction drawings, and Revit MEP, HVAC, Electrical models.

The role requires working closely with senior technicians and engineers to ensure compliance with client drafting standards and quality requirements.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Production of watermains, piping layouts, profile drawings as per BIM / CAD standards
  • Preparation of drawings including conceptual sketches and detailed construction drawings, using Autodesk Civil 3D software (pipe networks, profiles, alignments, assemblies & sub-assemblies, 3D Feature Lines and Grading Groups)
  • Preparation of Revit MEP, HVAC, Electrical models
  • Ensuring compliance with Client drafting standards and Quality requirements
  • Completing BIM / CAD tasks as directed by the Senior BIM / CAD Technician (or) BIM / CAD Coordinator (or) Engineers
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Under Graduation (or Pursuing) in Civil Engineering Discipline
  • 3 – 8 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and Autodesk Civil 3D Design
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with BIM processes and standards
  • Knowledge of additional software tools related to civil engineering
