Rungta International University seeks a high-achieving leader to spearhead its training and placement initiatives. As the Head of Training & Placement, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, enhancing student employability, and forging strong industry partnerships.

About the Role

This leadership position involves overseeing the placement team, developing and implementing a comprehensive vision for training and placement aligned with institutional goals and industry demands. You will work closely with academics, recruiters, and corporate organizations to create innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of students and employers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for training and placement that aligns with Rungta International University's mission and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the training and placement team to achieve placement targets and quality standards.
  • Broaden and deepen partnerships with industry leaders, recruiters, and corporate organizations to secure placement opportunities.
  • Create and deliver training programs focusing on soft skills, technical skills, and employability enhancement.
  • Organize effective campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and career counselling sessions.
  • Collaborate with academic departments and external stakeholders to integrate industry-relevant skills into training curriculums.
  • Stay updated with market trends, industry requirements, and emerging job roles to guide training and placement strategies.
  • Represent Rungta International University at industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in training and placement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing large teams and delivering high placement success.
  • Extensive network of industry contacts and recruiters.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in curriculum design and training program development.
  • Proficiency with placement management software and reporting tools.
