Job Title: Principal Legal Counsel

 

Key Responsibilities:

The key member of the legal team will work with skilled professionals to provide solutions for compliance and business issues. This role requires a legal professional with extensive experience in a legal and compliance role.

 

Core Functions:
  1. Compliance Leadership: Own, implement, and enforce Infosys' whistleblower program across the globe and regions.
  2. Investigations and Remediation: Handle global investigations on various issues, negotiate, and implement remediations.
  3. Regulatory Expertise: Contribute to the Compliance & Integrity Plan and its reviews, prepare action plans, resolve problems, identify trends, determine system improvements, and implement changes.
  4. Regulatory Frameworks: Understand key compliance and regulatory regimes applicable to the organization, including Whistleblower Regulations, Anti-Bribery - Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Confidentiality, and commensurate processes and controls.
  5. Analytics and Automation: Conduct risk evaluation and mitigation using analytics and automation tools.
  6. Whistleblower Systems: Review and improve whistleblower systems, employee feedback mechanisms in collaboration with HR.
  7. Training and Communications: Plan, organize, and conduct trainings and communications to enhance and grow the whistleblower program in line with industry standards.
  8. Policy Administration: Derive policy administration, trainings, and regular communications.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with functions like facilities and infra, government relations, finance, HR, and sales and delivery functions to assist in organizational expansion.
  10. Public Policy: Advise on public policy, working closely with the Government Relations team.
  11. Company Position: Support company positions by developing company responses and defenses to complaints, investigations, and administrative proceedings.
  12. Legal Requirements: Comply with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising executive management on needed actions.
  13. Legal Solutions: Demonstrate ability to effectively identify legal solutions to solve complex business issues and advise internal customers with precise and clear counsel.
