As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating and revising technical documentation. Your expertise in authoring will enable you to independently create or revise documents for various industries.Key responsibilities:
  • Create and revise documents as per industry requirements
  • Analyze configurations to identify pre- and post-drawings
  • Familiarize with standards such as S1000D, iSpec 2200, and ASD STE – 100
  • Perform technical analysis of criteria and related data sources
  • Knowledge of technical tools such as SAP PCS and authoring software
  • Cold working knowledge of document creation
  • Aircraft zone and access study to specify work location
  • Carry out precise sequence of document creation process described in quality plan
  • Estimate timeline and make realistic commitment with project leader
  • Active participation in customer communication for queries
  • Analyzing, mock-up, and authoring in text editors for documents
  • Maintain quality (RFT) and KPIs for assigned tasks
  • Manage workload and maintain OTD (on-time deliveries) and quality
  • Workflow process knowledge like quality check, INC & DCR
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis like 5 Why and 8D method (NCR)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering
  • AME with airline experience and document authoring experience
