Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and efficient electrical system designs using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.

In this role, you will work under general supervision and provide training and technical support to design staff on the BIM system. You will also direct project support and production to assigned projects, create drawings as required, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient electrical system designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain electrical system libraries and families within the BIM software to streamline the design process.
  • Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts in the 3D model.
  • Generate detailed electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and lighting plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in electrical system designs.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design and BIM implementation.
  • A good understanding of Electrical LV Distribution and Lighting systems for Buildings.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
