Job Overview:

As a seasoned Supply Chain Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing the supply chain function from procurement to delivery. Your expertise will drive business growth through effective vendor management, logistics coordination, and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans that align with business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless procurement, warehousing, inventory, and logistics processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage supply effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant trade regulations, industry standards, and quality control measures.
  • Oversee import/export activities and customs clearance as required.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
  • Lead and mentor the supply chain team to promote professional growth, efficiency, and excellence.
  • Implement digital tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for enhanced tracking and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and supply chain management software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
