Procurement Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Procurement Specialist to oversee the management of pharmaceutical products across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, be able to manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute centralized procurement strategies for pharmaceutical products
  • Negotiate contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance
  • Conduct market analysis for competitive pricing and product availability
  • Handle tender processes and vendor onboarding procedures
  • Oversee warehouse operations for pharmaceutical storage and distribution
  • Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage
  • Ensure proper storage conditions, cold chain management, and expiry tracking
  • Coordinate distribution schedules based on demand forecasting
  • Manage emergency procurement for critical medications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, preferably in hospital/healthcare settings
  • Experience with centralized procurement operations and vendor management
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chains and distribution networks
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of drug storage, handling, and distribution protocols
