As a seasoned Oracle Database expert, you will be responsible for spearheading database migration across data center and cloud platforms.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy to ensure seamless delivery of critical business applications.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the assessment, planning, execution, validation, and post-migration optimization of database migrations.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design and implement robust database architectures that meet scalability and performance requirements.
  • Migrate large-scale databases across various environments, including data center-to-data center, AWS-to-AWS, Azure-to-Azure, Exadata to ExaCC, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Implement best practices for backup and recovery using Rubrik, RMAN, and OEM.
  • Spearhead data purging, retention policies, and compliance initiatives for regulated environments.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Oracle Database administration, with at least 5 years in leadership roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • Proven track record of managing complex Oracle migrations in multi-cloud, Exadata, and ExaCC environments.
  • Expert-level skills in Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning, as well as Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) implementation and management.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native database solutions in AWS (RDS, EC2, S3) and Azure (Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Recovery Vaults).
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-resolution skills, particularly in Exadata/ExaCC environments.
