We are seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop closure systems for the automobile sector.

Closures Design Engineer
  • 4-7 years of experience in the automobile OEM sector is required.

Proficiency in CATIA and PLM software's like Team center is essential. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in closures design, development, and execution.

  • Key responsibilities include designing front door, rear door, tailgate, engine hood, and fender systems using sheet metal, aluminum, extrusions, and plastics.
  • The candidate should be experienced in project execution, supplier interaction, and preparation of presentations.
  • Tolerance stack up and GD&T analysis are added advantages.

A good understanding of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly processes is necessary.

  • Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, DFA, and other relevant engineering documents is also required.

Detailed knowledge of the production process and its optimization is crucial for this role.
