Job Title: Senior Hydraulic Design Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled hydraulic design engineer to work on the installation and design of hydraulic systems for large mining products. This role involves concept development, component/system design, supplier collaboration, and supporting builds/testing at site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hose/tube & mounting bracket design in Creo software.
  • Hydraulic component placement, routing, and system integration.
  • Interpret and troubleshoot hydraulic schematics.
  • Support prototype/pilot builds and on-machine tests.
  • Validate hydraulic components & perform design calculations.
  • Bolted joint analysis & Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Creo Simulate or equivalent.
  • Apply APQP, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
  • Collaborate with global teams and suppliers, support New Product Introduction (NPI) and aftermarket services.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on design experience in hydraulics systems/components.
  • Proficiency in Creo software and understanding of hydraulic schematics.
  • Knowledge of material properties, hose fittings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills.
