Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Water Supply Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing water supply systems that meet the needs of our clients.

  • You will determine water requirement calculations for various projects, including Water Supply Schemes and Irrigation pipe distribution network projects.
  • You will prepare zone / water user association block and chak planning of projects, ensuring efficient water distribution.
  • You will plan pipeline layout for Water Supply Scheme and Pressurized / Gravity pipe distribution network Irrigation Project, considering factors such as terrain and population growth.
  • You will design hydraulic systems using Water GEMS software, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • You will prepare L-Sections of pipeline design on AutoCAD and E survey Software, creating detailed drawings and specifications.
  • You will conduct investigations, surveys, engineering calculations, and working drawings for water supply schemes and Pressurized / Gravity pipe distribution network Irrigation Project, identifying areas for improvement.
  • You will estimate item-wise bill of quantity and bar bending schedule from drawings, ensuring accurate cost estimation.
  • You will obtain design approvals from government departments and vetting institutes, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • You will present reports and proposals to stakeholders, effectively communicating technical information and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in hydraulic design and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Master's degree in Water Resources, Irrigation, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Water GEMS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and E survey Software.
  • In-depth knowledge of IS codes, pipelines, valves, pumps, and water supply schemes.
