Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wiper to join our team in a key position on Container Vessels.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute with and develop their competencies on technically advanced vessels with the best and latest machinery.

  • Maintain a clean and tidy Engine Room as instructed by the 2nd Engineer.
  • Carry out regular maintenance as defined by the Chief and Second Engineer in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
  • Assist with mooring/undocking of the vessel and Canal transits as designated by the Master.
  • Monitor the loading of HFO or IFO, MDO/GO and Lube Oil Bunkers as directed by the Chief Engineer.
  • Ensure work and rest hour planning is done on an ongoing basis and rest hour requirements are complied with to avoid fatigue.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 12-18 Months rank experience on foreign going ships.
