As a Senior Counselling Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the journeys of master's, PhD, and other postgraduate applicants.

About this Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior counsellor, providing personalized guidance on academics, extracurriculars, and application milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serving as the main point of contact for students and parents, providing guidance on their academic journey and helping them achieve their goals.
  2. Designing and overseeing structured mentorship schedules with external mentors, ensuring students receive consistent support.
  3. Conducting one-on-one profile evaluations, advising on academics, extracurriculars, summer schools, internships, and overall profile building.
  4. Captaining students through standardized test preparation (SAT/ACT, APs, IELTS/TOEFL, etc.) and guiding them on subject or curriculum equivalencies (IB, A-Levels, CBSE, ISC, etc.).
  5. Assisting in the drafting, reviewing, and refining of application essays, personal statements, activity lists, résumés, and recommendation letters.
  6. Conducting mock interviews aligned with admissions standards of universities in the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
  7. Coordinating weekly student-mentor sessions via Zoom/Google Meet and maintaining an updated database of student progress.
  8. Preparing detailed progress notes, ensuring applications stay on track with internal and university deadlines.
  9. Researching relevant undergraduate scholarships, financial aid, and merit-based opportunities, and assisting students with applications (CSS Profile, FAFSA, UCAS bursaries, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
