Financial Operations Specialist

This role focuses on banking and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-learner, willing to take on any task, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with banks for financial transactions
  • Assisting with daily cash management across various bank accounts
  • Producing daily MIS on liquidity
  • Obtaining required financial documents
  • Preparing weekly payment summaries
  • Reviewing employee claims
  • Credit card management
  • License procurement
  • Generating monthly payment reports for accounting purposes
  • Assisting with the execution of financing deals
  • Assistance in Daily Portfolio Transfers, Investor Repayments, EMI Repayments
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for India, covering disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts
  • Prepare and record journal entries using NetSuite to support timely month-end close
  • Assist with timely payment of all statutory dues
  • Partner with various departments on accruals, vendor management, and contracts management
  • Assist the team in preparing and communicating timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly cash projections
  • Assist with annual external audit, completing requested materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance or related field
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar position
  • Experience in handling banking transactions
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get hands dirty
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Driven by data and highly analytical, good understanding of Excel preferred
