Java Application Support Engineer Job OverviewJob Title: Java Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals with strong technical skills and experience in Java application support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2/3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and stability.
  • Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and incident management, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.
  • Monitor application performance, proactively addressing potential issues and resolving technical problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently.
Required Skills:
  • Core Java programming skills with expertise in Java-based enterprise applications.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, and other relevant databases.
  • Familiarity with Tomcat, WebLogic, and other Java application servers.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and other IT service management tools.
  • Shell scripting, Unix/Linux skills with ability to automate tasks.
  • Proficiency in AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and other observability tools.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Harness, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools.
  • Incident, Problem & Change Management skills with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and production support environments, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
