Senior Java Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications.

You will work with a strong background in building applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and React framework. Your expertise in these technologies will enable us to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and APIs.
  • Solution Implementation: Implement and optimize solutions using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Config Server, and API Gateway.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Work on Kafka/RabbitMQ for event-driven and messaging architectures.
  • User-Facing Applications: Develop user-facing applications with React framework.
  • Code Quality: Write high-quality, maintainable code with thorough unit testing (UTs).
  • Reactive Programming: Implement reactive programming concepts and manage multithreading where required.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Overall Experience: 7+ years in Java development.
  • Java: Strong programming skills – Mandatory.
  • Microservices: 5+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Spring Boot + Spring Framework: 4+ years.
  • Kafka: Minimum 1 year (Apache Kafka expertise required).
  • Database: 4+ years (SQL, JPA/Hibernate – at least 2 years).
  • React Framework: Working experience in building UI applications.
  • Reactive Programming: Good to have, with knowledge of multithreading.
  • Cloud: Good to have (AWS preferred).
