About the jobJob Title: Java Backend Developer (Java 11, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker)Location: Bangalore / Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java 11, Spring Boot, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
You will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend services in a cloud-native environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 11 and Spring Boot.Implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.Deploy, scale, and manage services on Kubernetes.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.Collaborate with front-end developers, Dev Ops engineers, and QA teams.Monitor and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.Integrate with databases (SQL/No SQL) and external APIs.Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.Required Skills & Qualifications6+ years of experience in backend development.Strong proficiency in Java 11 (or later).Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework.Proficiency in building and deploying containerized apps using Docker.Practical knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.Solid understanding of microservices architecture.Experience with REST API design and implementation.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of database technologies (My SQL, Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, etc.).Preferred SkillsExperience with message brokers (Kafka, Rabbit MQ).Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).Exposure to event-driven architectures.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Health insurance and wellness programs.Flexible working hours and remote work options.Opportunities for upskilling and certifications.Collaborative and innovative work culture.
