Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the development and optimization of our API Management Platform using Google Apigee.

  • Design, implement, and evolve scalable API solutions leveraging Google Apigee Edge/X
  • Define and enforce strategic guidelines for internal and external APIs, ensuring optimal governance and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and create efficient API frameworks
  • Develop and maintain API proxies, shared flows, policies, and integrations using Apigee Edge
  • Integrate Apigee with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, IAM, and Analytics tools, ensuring seamless security protocols
  • Establish and enforce robust security measures including rate limiting, quotas, API key validation, JWT, and mutual TLS
  • Design and implement automation for API lifecycle management, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of API strategy, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies, with a proven track record of delivering secure and scalable API solutions.
