About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated GIS expert to lead the development of scalable geospatial solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of ArcGIS, Python and JavaScript and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop and maintain connectors to integrate with customer systems
  • Analyze and understand technical requirements of customer systems and develop appropriate architecture for implementations
  • Review, modify and test programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging
  • Ensure software can be seamlessly integrated into customer systems
  • Coordinate software integration and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Expert knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ArcGIS Desktop /Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and understanding how to build high-performance UI applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data
  • Experience with front-end technologies e.g. React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud is preferable
  • Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications
  • Writing clean code with well-defined abstractions that reduce complexity
  • Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Knowledge and utilization of REST API and other web services for integrating
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration
  • Experience in Azure Repo with knowledge of git and Azure Containers
  • Bachelor's degree GIS Geographic Science Computer Science Survey Engineering or related field or relevant work experience
