Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data to support informed decision-making.

  • Data Collection and Management: The successful candidate will search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data
  • ETL operations: ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.
  • GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend data requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

The role requires a minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Data Specialist and knowledge of various ESRI products, such as ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, and Data Reviewer Extension.

Requirements:

A Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field is required, and the ideal candidate should be familiar with image processing techniques and possess excellent planning, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
