GIS Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Geographic Information System (GIS) Developer to fill this exciting role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Publishing and administering map services using GeoServer and ArcGIS Server is crucial for this position.
  • Tuning and troubleshooting map services for optimal performance is essential.
  • Maintaining and administering geodatabases using PostGIS, ArcGIS GeoDBs requires strong technical skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong background in computer science or a related field is necessary.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a software developer implementing GIS solutions is required.
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Java, and TypeScript is essential.
  • Familiarity with ESRI APIs and tools (ArcObjects, Geoprocessing, ArcGIS Desktop/Server/Portal, ArcGIS Online, etc.) is a must.
  • Experience in open-source GIS software like GeoServer, PostGIS, GDAL, GeoPandas and GeoSpark is highly valued.
