Job Role

The Assistant Treasury Manager is a key member of the Finance Operations team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing short-term liquidity management.

This role ensures accurate and timely cash management and supports global financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Cash management: Monitoring cash balances, bank reporting, and maintaining treasury dashboards.
  • Cash forecasting: Preparing detailed forecasts and conducting variance analysis between projected and actual cash flow statements.
  • Bank relationships: Monitoring and managing the organization's bank relationships and overall liquidity.
  • Debt schedule: Overseeing and managing the organization's debt schedule to ensure timely obligations are met.
  • Wire payments: Coordinating with global counterparts and banks to reconcile and record activities.
  • Bank reconciliations: Performing daily bank reconciliations and maintaining account records.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in treasury or cash management functions.
  • Financial principles: Proficiency in financial and cash management principles.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer software: Advanced computer software skills, particularly with Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Sensitive information: Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Process improvement: Interested in process improvement, focusing on defining and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and increasing efficiencies.
  • Time management: Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
