The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity expert to join our team. As part of the Threat and Vulnerability Management group, you will work closely with various stakeholders to secure our cloud and data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and analyze vulnerabilities across the organization's environment.
  • Assess the risk of detected vulnerabilities to determine their impact.
  • Provide technical expertise to stakeholders on vulnerability analysis and remediation steps.
  • Coordinate with teams to track issue resolution until closure.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for new projects related to vulnerability management lifecycle.
  • Manage and maintain tools used for vulnerability management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security and technology developments.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role such as vulnerability management specialist.
  • Proficiency with Qualys or other security vulnerability detection technologies required.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in multiple IT, Security, and Software disciplines.
  • Ability to understand cause-and-effect relationships between application and operating system vulnerabilities.
  • Must be able to multitask and handle large amounts of information across different systems.
  • Ability to continuously improve and develop future strategies related to enterprise security.
  • Adheres to a 'continuous monitoring' and 'continuous improvement' mindset.
  • Technical skills including OS flavors, network technologies, and topologies.
  • Technical security expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Comfortable interacting with internal or external organizations regarding security-related issues.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present solutions in business terms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Python scripting or other languages is desirable.
  • Moderate documentation and analytical skills; documenting processes, policies, and standards.
  • Ability to provide end-to-end support to counterparts, identifying root causes of complex initiatives.
  • Troubleshooting skills across complex applications, servers, and endpoint environments.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Basic privileged access management experience; designing solutions based on least privilege.
  • Basic understanding of malware operations, indicators, or threats.
  • Knowledge of current threat landscape.
  • Entry-level cybersecurity certifications, such as CompTIA Security + or GIAC Security Fundamentals, are desirable.
