Job Description

The role of Technology Senior Specialist entails the design and implementation of SAP technology solutions within a specific area of expertise.

The successful candidate will ensure the secure and compliant design of SAP solutions, as well as provide coaching and support to team partners in the implementation and operational requirements of the solution.

This position involves developing measures, contributing to the Security Compliance Index, and providing guidance and technical support to product teams.

The Technology Senior Specialist guides and promotes optimal use of technology to support the cost-effective delivery of business requirements within their area of expertise.

They should be self-motivated to find opportunities and take initiatives, working at the leading edge of IT for the product or platform.

  • Preliminary studies to set the technological direction with the product or platform manager.
  • Supporting the delivery and sustain of the most complex applications and business capabilities.
  • Accountability for specific deliverables in relation to development or support of technical solutions within their area of specialty.

Travel activity is low, averaging below 10%.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP BASIS Technologies.
  • Experience of successfully leading technical evaluations.
  • Experience of resolving technical issues, deep problem-solving skills, including those involving 3rd parties.
  • Preferably certification in corresponding technical fields.
  • Effective communication at different levels in the organization.
  • Global environment and virtual teams experience.
  • Excellence in the technology domain of specialism.
  • Product lifecycle methodologies understanding (Agile/SCRUM principles, DevOps, project management principles).
  • IT standards and controls understanding.
