About the Role

This exciting opportunity is to lead a livelihood project that focuses on enterprise development and capacity building. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing project activities aligned with the project design and quality standards.

  • Manage project operations and learning initiatives to ensure effective implementation of livelihood activities.
  • Enhance technical quality through regular coordination with Director – Social Additionality.
  • Develop implementation plans and budgets; support project teams in achieving defined objectives and targets.
  • Issue directives and guidelines for timely and effective implementation of project activities.
  • Proactively identify operational challenges and coordinate timely solutions with the project team and Director – SA.
  • Develop knowledge management products showcasing project impact.
  • Promote reflective practices to refine strategies and approaches.
\\About You\

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector. Your expertise should include social business development, entrepreneurship awareness, and development programs.

  • Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector.
  • Experience in social business development is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working with informal sectors and vulnerable workforce.
  • Strong understanding of social and environmental sustainability concepts.
