Job Overview

The IT Infrastructure Manager plays a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and managing the organization's IT infrastructure. This involves overseeing servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, and data centers to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives and scalability needs.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage hybrid environments (e.g., Nutanix, cloud migrations) with cost optimization.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement infrastructure security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers and support staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and enable growth.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design, implement, and test DR and business continuity plans.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Oversee proactive monitoring of systems and networks; resolve incidents with minimal downtime.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and infrastructure budgets; recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed system/process documentation and prepare reports on infrastructure health and KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or equivalent roles.
  • Proven expertise in network, systems, and cloud infrastructure.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service delivery frameworks.
