Job Summary

Operational Procurement in Business Services focuses on managing end-to-end transactional procurement processes to improve process reliability and service levels, increase overall quality and automation, and capture value on key focus areas.

Essential Functions
  • Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvements.
  • Perform transactional activities of Operational Procurement (spot buying/PR to PO/vendor master data/helpdesk services).
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the Shared Services function, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests, including PR to PO conversion from initiation through order fulfillment.
  • Reporting expertise to extract reports from ERP systems as per business requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to POs created.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Conduct timely communication upon inquiries from internal/external customers/concerned groups.
  • Follow up-to-date operational procedures and adhere to standardized processes.
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders.
  • Timely identify potential issues and make appropriate escalations.
  • Operational compliance on all regulatory and internal/external guidelines and support audit activities.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred.
  • Business experience required.
  • 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • ERP system knowledge and experience.
  • Desirable working experience in Shared Services Center procurement procedures.
