Senior Ocean & Air Freight Specialist

Beeontrade is seeking a skilled leader to build and scale our ocean & air product vertical in India.

This role involves taking ownership of one of the largest and most critical profit & loss statements (P&L) within the company, requiring strategic thinking and execution capabilities.

You will be responsible for shaping procurement strategy, pricing, carrier partnerships, and commercial operations from scratch, driving India's growth trajectory in the global Beeontrade network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a substantial ocean/air P&L and team across America, developing and maintaining relations with ocean carrier partners.
  • Design, build, and price ocean/air marketplace coverage.
  • Lead a diverse team of leaders, executing global carrier strategies and regional trade carrier strategies.
  • Procure competitive market rates, design products, and manage yield.
  • Respond to tenders and RFQs to secure regional and global customers through your team.
  • Manage a team of market experts in ocean/air freight.
  • Support the sales and marketing organization with market information, sales leads, and joint sales visits.
  • Educate teams on trade-specific market knowledge and trade idiosyncrasies.
