DFT Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced DFT engineer with a strong background in design for testability (DFT) techniques and architectures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing DFT techniques to improve the testability of complex system-on-chip (SOC) devices.
- Designing and implementing DFT techniques to improve testability of complex SOCs;
- Implementing, integrating and verifying memory built-in self-test (BIST) and boundary scan;
- Automated test pattern generation (ATPG) test vector creation with high test coverage and simulations at gate level with timing;
- Participating in driving new DFT methodology and solutions to improve product quality, reliability, and in-system test and debug capability.
The successful candidate will have:
- A good understanding of DFT architecture and design principles;
- Experience working with ATPG tools and BIST tools;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Strong communication, teamwork, and networking skills.
In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate should also possess strong business acumen and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
