Team Lead Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead a team of researchers and engineers in developing innovative solutions at the intersection of AI, image processing, computer vision, and deep learning. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and leadership skills to drive cutting-edge projects from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to achieve project goals and timelines.
  • Define project deliverables and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that promotes innovation and high performance.

Research & Development:

  • Design and implement deep learning algorithms for tasks such as detection, segmentation, tracking, and recognition.
  • Drive innovation in image analysis, medical imaging, industrial vision, and AI-powered automation.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and publications in AI and vision technologies.
  • Project Execution:
  • Translate business needs into AI-based solutions.
  • Oversee the end-to-end pipeline: data acquisition, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Ensure robustness, scalability, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Present results to stakeholders and prepare technical reports.
  • Represent the team in conferences, client meetings, and technical collaborations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/mentorship role.
  • Strong track record in developing and deploying deep learning models.
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and related libraries.
  • Experience with MLOps, cloud platforms, and model optimization.
  • Strong publication/patent record (for R&D roles) or deployment history (for industry roles).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in medical imaging, autonomous systems, robotics, or industrial inspection.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and data management strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
