Driving Operational Excellence

This leadership role involves spearheading delivery efforts on projects, playing a critical part in every stage of the consulting engagement from opportunity assessment to final implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders by helping them manage and resolve operational issues.
  • Conduct thorough interviews to develop current state assessments and suggest operational improvements/savings opportunities.
  • Analyze client spend data and create project deliverables, conduct research into various markets and industries.
  • Develop process maps, identify gaps, and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to draft and release requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Support client stakeholders and suppliers during bid evaluation and supplier selection.
  • Develop financial models to understand the true cost of owning goods/services and present findings to key decision-makers.
  • Evaluate suppliers' pricing proposals and draft negotiation strategy presentations.
  • Review contracts for alignment with negotiated procurement terms and facilitate redlines from the legal team as necessary.

Successful candidates will have 1-4 years of experience in a consulting firm or industry, preferably in operations, supply-chain, and/or procurement. They should be excited about working in a dynamic atmosphere, comfortable with ambiguity, and possess an ownership-driven mindset. Essential skills include proven problem-solving, time management, quantitative, analytical, and communication skills. Additionally, candidates should be highly motivated team players with the ability to work autonomously and utilize presentation and interpersonal skills daily.
