Order Fulfillment Specialist

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. As an Order Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and services to customers.

Job Description:

The Order Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the planning, management, and execution of all order fulfillment activities. This includes managing production build plans, validating and verifying slotting tools, approving orders, managing shortages and material expediting, and working with the shipping department to ensure proper packing and shipment of orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and update production build plans on a daily basis
  • Validate and verify slotting tools and build plans on a weekly basis
  • Approve all open and new orders and create and manage tool and option orders in the system
  • Manage shortages and material expediting, daily tool configuration changes and updates
  • Work with the shipping department to ensure proper packing and shipment of orders
  • Manage outsourcing supply planning and forecast, purchase order management, and troubleshoot invoice and material receipt issues
  • Manage spare part allocation and shipment, supporting field service teams
  • Support finance/AP processes, including customer returns and invoice troubleshooting
  • Manage SFDC case and quote management, tool and options quotes and order entry, and customer relationship management
  • Manage new product introduction processes, including BOM and part number creation/changes, and expediting materials and placing part orders
Requirements:
  • Four-year degree and two to five years prior work experience in production Planning & order fulfilment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of managing complex processes and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
  • Any ERP hands-on usage experience preferred
  • ERP & MRP tools experience; experience using pc/MRP / NetSuite is highly desirable
  • Understanding of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing and advanced planning & forecasting techniques
