Join Tata Motors as a Senior Manager - Crash Simulation to lead the development of advanced vehicle safety features. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting structural CAE simulations, analyzing results, and providing design feedback to ensure the highest level of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural CAE simulations to analyze vehicle structure and propose design improvements.
- Benchmark competitor products and download CAD data and BOM data from PLM systems.
- Build FE models of full vehicle models for crash analysis and create simulation setups.
- Analyze crash performance and prepare reports to highlight current status and required improvements.
- Provide countermeasures to meet target crash performance and execute CAE correlation activities.
- Manage FE models and CAE data for assigned projects and plan for CAD data download and FE model building activities.
- Develop new simulation techniques and work guidelines for crash simulation work.
Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive structural CAE.
- Knowledge of vehicle construction, safety regulations, and CAE simulation tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
