Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineer-level support on performance optimization of rotating equipment.
  • Utilise online and offline data acquisition techniques, analyse, and provide necessary recommendations on maintenance needs to avoid major breakdowns of the equipment.
  • Keep updated knowledge of the condition of the rotating equipment by monitoring, tracking, and analysing to identify developing faults or defects.
Accountabilities:
  • Carry out detailed analysis of performance-based data, monitor and analyse performance monitoring, vibration oil analysis wear particle thermography, etc., and able to carry out rotating equipment troubleshooting root cause analysis for actual potential failures.
  • Identify inherent conditions leading to rotating equipment failure through various operational machine performance monitoring parameters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Accredited performance analysis training (Cat I).
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring data systems like CSI Emerson SKF and GE System 1 SmartSignal, various oil analysis techniques, wear particles, thermography, etc.
Additional Requirements:
  • Formal trainings in performance monitoring subject's techniques from vendors, consultants, reputed technical training institutes.
  • Basic knowledge related to rotating equipment construction, function, and maintenance.
  • Certification in performance monitoring techniques.
  • At least 23 years of performance monitoring experience in a Power Refinery Petrochemical Industry.
