Job Overview

The Store Manager role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail store operations, ensuring world-class customer service and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will be a leader, mentor, and brand ambassador who can maintain the unique brand experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Store Operations
    • Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and POS systems.
    • Ensure the store reflects the luxury ethnic wear identity through visual merchandising, cleanliness, and ambience.
  • Sales & Customer Experience
    • Drive sales to achieve revenue targets.
    • Provide personalized styling guidance to customers.
    • Handle escalated customer queries and ensure smooth exchange/return processes.
  • Team Leadership
    • Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff and support personnel.
    • Monitor staff performance and set targets.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee stock movement and replenishment.
    • Maintain accurate records of saree collections.
  • Marketing & Engagement
    • Execute in-store events such as festivals showcases and draping workshops.
    • Promote store offers through local channels and social media collaborations.
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Prepare sales and footfall reports.
    • Ensure compliance with billing and company policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages.
  • Knowledge of ethnic wear fabrics and draping styles.
  • Customer-first mindset with problem-solving skills.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (in Retail or Business).
  • 4-6 years of experience in apparel/ethnic retail management.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and leading retail teams.
