Job Role Summary

The position of Business Systems Developer involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand and define business requirements, leading blueprinting sessions, evaluating solutions, and recommending programming enhancements as needed.

  • Business Requirements Analysis: Meet with stakeholders to gather defined business requirements, document functional requirements in a comprehensive document, and collaborate with teams to ensure complete requirements are captured.
  • System Design and Development: Lead the design of PROS and ERP based business systems, provide guidance on best practices, estimate costs, and recommend programming enhancements when necessary.
  • PROS Configuration Support: Translate business requirements into configuration, document complex configurations, work to develop and test the configuration, and resolve issues via the PROS ticketing software.
  • Development Specifications Preparation: Document required functionality, input, and output for ABAP/CDS views/PROS Control & Guidance/PROS Smart CPQ, oversee offshore developers, and provide guidance on unit test scenarios and test data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with PROS Control & Guidance and Smart CPQ is mandatory.
  • Certification in PROS Analytics and Pricing 301 is essential.
  • Nice to have: At least 3 years' experience in SAP ECC/S4 Sales and Distribution – Pricing requirements and formula routines.
  • Experience with Oracle/PLSQL, XML, html, and Java is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is necessary for telephone consulting, email, training, and documentation in English.
