Accounting Financial Management Role

This is a financial management role for an accounting team requiring experience in billing and collections along with people management skills.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the Order to Cash process including timely invoicing, dispute resolution, and accurate documentation.
  • They must review client contracts to prevent any discrepancies in invoicing and ensure all supporting documents are in place.
  • The ideal candidate will proactively identify and resolve issues such as billing errors, late payments, and AR reconciliations.
  • Communication with clients via email and phone for collection of overdue payments is essential.
  • Recording customer feedback and facilitating prompt resolution is also required.
  • The selected candidate will coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Tax) for timely issue resolution.
  • Ensuring achievement of team KPIs and individual deliverables is crucial.
  • Monitoring and managing collections in line with contract TATs is necessary.
  • Generating accurate and timely reports for collections is also a key responsibility.
  • Raising payment release requests to Treasury for salary disbursements to associates is another task.
  • Conducting client visits as required is essential.
  • Identifying and escalating high-risk accounts to management is critical.
  • Driving continuous process improvements and best practices is necessary.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management reports is a key task.
  • Having a solid understanding of e-invoicing, GST, TDS, and GST-TDS compliance is essential.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree in Commerce with MBA Finance being desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel is necessary.
