Requirements and Skills

  1. Administrating Azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS services for 2-4 years with a strong focus on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of infrastructure services like VMs, DBs, Storage accounts, Application Gateways, Load balancers, AKS, VNETs, WAF, and DevOps components.
  2. Highly proficient in Microsoft Azure including its core features, tools, and technologies.
  3. Experience in firewall rule configuration is an added advantage as well as knowledge of Azure services used for Backup and Disaster Recovery.
  4. Demonstrated understanding and experience with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies.
  5. Working knowledge of Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates) and containers including orchestration with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  6. Proficiency with Azure DevOps including Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Repos.

Soft skills are also highly valued in this role. We seek candidates with excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with delivery engineering teams.

Additional qualifications include ITIL Foundations Certification, desired certifications AZ 104, Azure Developer, and Azure DevOps Engineer, as well as experience with Linux, PowerShell, BASH, cloud platform specific automation tooling, scripting languages, software development languages, data, and networking.

Responsibilities will include managing cloud instances, deploying and managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSGs, etc., ensuring seamless collaboration among teams, and fostering open communication with stakeholders.
