Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Lead

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the technical onboarding process for customers using managed open-source cloud platforms.

This role involves collaborating with customers to understand their infrastructure requirements and designing optimal solutions that leverage cloud-native technologies.

The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on the use of open-source cloud platforms, including architecture, network design, storage solutions, and compute resource management.

In addition, the individual will educate customers on best practices for managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, including upgrades, monitoring, scaling, and operational efficiency.

A strong understanding of automation tools, such as Terraform and Ansible, is essential for this role.

The Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Lead will also work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for enterprise-level cloud infrastructure modernization.

  • Lead the technical onboarding process for customers using managed open-source cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their infrastructure requirements and design optimal solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on the use of open-source cloud platforms.
  • Educate customers on best practices for managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement automation solutions to streamline deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during customer onboarding and ongoing usage.
  • Deliver expert services solutions to existing customers in accordance with a statement of work document.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve the customer experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and open-source cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, and automation tools.

A solid understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including networking, storage, compute, and security, is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep knowledge of managing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, including CI/CD, containers, microservices, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployments, operations, and optimizations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including networking, storage, compute, and security.
  • Proficiency in writing automation scripts to streamline operational tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
