Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This is an exciting opportunity for someone to leverage their technical expertise in cloud computing, networking, and security to help our organization achieve its digital transformation goals.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using OCI services such as Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Compute instances, Storage options, FSS, Block Volume, Object storage, etc.
  • Configure and manage network security groups, bastion hosts, public load balancers, and other OCI services to ensure the highest level of security and availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure requirements and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and for managing OCI infrastructure.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization to ensure the best possible performance and efficiency of the cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • 4-10 years of experience in cloud computing, networking, and security.
  • Strong understanding of cloud concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless computing.
  • Hands-on experience with OCI services, including VCNs, compute instances, storage options, and networking services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications: OCI Architect Associate/Professional, OCI Migration and Integration Specialist, OCI Security Associate/Professional, OCI Cloud Operations Associate.
