Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Accountant to manage our organization's financial activities with precision and expertise. This role involves handling various accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial insights to stakeholders.

  • Handle daily accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and Management Information Systems (MIS) reports
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Income Tax Return (ITR), and other statutory requirements
  • Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis
  • Support audits with proper documentation
  • Generate reports as needed by management
  • Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize costs and improve processes
  • Foster adherence to accounting standards and organizational policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably under a Chartered Accountant (CA) or in a CA firm
  • Proficiency in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools is an asset)
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances
  • Experience with inventory accounting is desirable (Food and Vegetable domain is a plus)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
