Public Policy Professional

This role plays a pivotal part in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of India’s policy framework.

  • Provide strategic guidance on policy initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Represent company interests with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments to identify emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • Offer data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership on key policy matters.
  • Develop strategies to address critical legislative, regulatory, and public policy proposals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in policy-related matters, providing tactical and strategic advice.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across regulatory, industry, and business networks.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, with a focus on the Indian market.
  • A strong network of stakeholders, including senior-level contacts, with demonstrated ability to effectively interact.
  • An extensive understanding of the policy climate in India, combined with sound business judgment and common sense.
  • Ability to anticipate emerging issues and communicate their impact on the organization.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build consensus and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
