Job Overview

The role of a cloud infrastructure engineer involves overseeing the implementation of infrastructure via code and providing strategic advice on Microsoft Azure technologies.

Key responsibilities include integrating and automating the delivery of standardised Azure deployments, acting as an escalation point for level three Azure-related issues, and ensuring the gathering of business requirements is translated into appropriate solutions.

A successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of public cloud environments and industry trends, significant experience supporting, designing, and developing public cloud solutions via Infrastructure as Code, extensive DevOps experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working as a Data engineer on Azure Cloud.
  • Good knowledge of PySpark, Azure Data Factory, and Terraform.
